Gaby Najera

Gaby is now a senior at WHS. She is the Associate Editor for Wheeling’s Spokesman. In the past, Gaby has been a Staff Reporter, La Voz Editor, and A&E Editor and Web Editor. This is her fourth year on the Spokesman Staff. Besides Spokesman, Gaby has been involved in the Blazing Bulldog Tutoring Program, Latino Club, Debate, and Badminton. For her senior year, Gaby hopes to continue to show progress as a journalist. Gaby has been a part of the Spokesman IHSA for two years and will be a part of it again this year. In IHSA, Gaby has placed in fourth place for advertising her sophomore year and fourth place for review writing her junior year. After high school, Gaby looks forward to pursuing a career in advertising and magazine journalism.
