District 214 celebrates student creativity in Fine Arts Anthology

Several students’ art and writing have been published in this year’s District 214 Fine Arts Anthology, a literary magazine that collects students’ art and poetry from all of the schools in the district.

Art and creative writing teachers submit a student’s writing or art entries.  Students who were published were recognized at a ceremony on April 10 at Forest View.

“The nice thing about the magazine is how there’s no ‘Wheeling Section’ or ‘BG Section’; it’s a cohesive feature,” Laura Wagner, English teacher, said.
