The Fold performs at back-to-school concert

WHS invited The Fold, a Chicago-based band, to perform at the back-to-school concert on Aug. 22, the first day of school.

The concert took place in the stadium at the end of the school day.  During the day, the school was on pep assembly schedule.  After 9th period, students and staff went out to the stadium.  The Fold, made up of Dan Castady, lead vocalist and guitarist; George Castady, guitarist and vocalist; Matt Pittman, bassist and vocalist; and Mark Rhoades, drummer, played both original songs and covers.

The Fold has released three albums and one EP.  It has also written the theme songs for LEGO Ninjago and the Chicago Cubs.
