McCarley returns with sophomore album, features appealing tracks

by Robert Perales, A&E Editor Alternative pop star Erin McCarley returns with a follow up to her debut album, “Love, Save the Empty.” Without much promotion, Mccarley’s sophomore effort, “My Stadium Electric,” has failed to crack the top 20 on the iTunes album chart. Despite an expected low debut for “My Stadium Love” on the U.S. Billboard 200, which calculates the top 200 albums based on weekly sales, the album manages to surpass expectations after the release of the lead single, “Elevator.” “Elevator” was neither good nor bad, but it failed to leave an impression among critics and fans alike….

“White Nights” by Oh Land

The Fold performs at back-to-school concert

The concert took place in the stadium at the end of the school day.  During the day, the school was on pep assembly schedule.  After 9th period, students and staff went out to the stadium.  The Fold, made up of Dan Castady, lead vocalist and guitarist; George Castady, guitarist and vocalist; Matt Pittman, bassist and vocalist; and Mark Rhoades, drummer, played both original songs and covers.
