Fans rush field after BG defeat

by Mike Pink, Staff Reporter The Wheeling vs. Buffalo Grove football game on Friday Oct. 5 before the Homecoming dance lived up to the hype. Brent Pearlman, varsity football coach, and the Cats went into the game hoping to improve to a 3-4 record and send the Bison home with a 1-6 record. Student Council plans Homecoming, Spirit Days

by Megan Jones, Editor-in-Chief After school today, WHS will begin to be transformed as Student Council decorates the foyer and classes adorn their respective hallways to prepare for Homecoming week. Student Council has planned a week of Homecoming activities for Oct. 1-6, based off the theme “Under the Skyline, Chicago.” Homecoming week will kick off on Monday with “Fancy Dress Day,” and a Coronation assembly in the gymnasium at 8:53 a.m. Senior stars and court will be honored during the assembly. Freshman, sophomore and junior classes have elected one boy and girl per class to represent their grade. Each class…
