‘Pack the Place’ promotes school spirit, fundraising

by Rosalie Chan, Web Editor Last week, students continued the traditions of “Pack the Place” week through spirit days, the pep assembly, a basketball game and Honor Pack’s fundraising. Sports, clubs and organizations nominated students to become Honor Pack members. Honor Pack helped raise money for a WHS family in economic hardship. Good deeds prove positive human nature

by Solinna Chong, Associate Editor These past few weeks, 30 seniors were chosen to be a part of Honor Pack to help raise money for a family in financial crisis. Honor Pack nominees, like myself, spent hours baking goods, bagging treats and purchasing candy bars to sell to the school in hopes of raising the most money. What makes this event so unusual is the family will never know which students were nominated to lead the fundraising, which students donated money and which students raised the most money.
