Varsity football continues to fight throughout game, loses to Rolling Meadows

The night featured a Hometown Celebration, which honored WHS alumni, David Tuber and Dr. Melissa Thal. Tuber graduated from Columbia College Chicago with a degree in Traditional Animation, where he went on to work with Cartoon Network’s Adult Swim. Freshmen attend annual orientation, activity fair

Photos by Megan Jones, Editor-in-Chief, and Kristina Piamonte, Photo Editor Freshmen orientation took place from 7:25 a.m. to 11:15 a.m. on Aug. 16.  The peer mentors led the incoming freshmen in a tour around WHS, classroom activities and going through the mock schedule.  At the end, the freshmen attended an assembly and an activity fair, where students promoted different extracurricular activities and sports.
